Hi! No time to write....just trying to get some new pics out here. The picture of the girls in the stroller is from our trip to the Wisconsin Dells. (We have the same picture from a year ago....its funny to see how they've changed in one year. See the March 09 Blog post) There are a few pics of the girls right after they woke up from a nap in their crib. I just love walking into their room after they wake up. They are in such good moods and are so goofy. Then lastly I've put some pictures of the girls first Easter egg hunt around the house. The girls are doing great and have such little personalities right now. I'm not even going to try to type everything that they are into because I know I'll miss too much.....next blog entry. :)

Winter update
Hi! I thought I would throw some newer pics out here since its been a while and give an update on whats new around here! So whats new.... The girls are about 20 months old now and are just my whole world!
They have really started to talk up a storm lately...
Words include:
Mama, Dada (FINALLY!!!)
Hi-eee, Ba-bye, Ello, Thankyou, Nana, More, Milk, Up, Out, Why, Cheese, Juice, Wait, Doggy, Kitty Cat, Shoes, Socks, Boots, Coat, Eyes, Nose, Mouth, One, Two, Three, and many more I can't think of now...
Things that make me smile:
Natalie singing the chorous of Single Ladies... "Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh"
The girls giving each other kisses
They wake up in the morning and have little chats and laugh at each other in their cribs while mom and dad sleep in
They have hair...lots of it! Its straight and blond (weird) and long enough for pig tails
What they are into:
We're taking our first swim class on Saturday mornings. I think it takes us longer to get ready for the class than the actual class.
LOVE Elmo - we watched Elmo's world at least 20 times on the trip to Michigan...to this day I am still singing "Down Down Baby Elmo loves Karate, Down Down Baby Elmo shakes his Body".
They love wearing my shoes around the house
Its crazy sitting here on the couch where I spent 3 months of bed rest writing all the things they can do now! Its amazing how fast time has gone by. Well hopefully we can survive this COLD Minnesota winter!! I'll try to write again before summer! :)

September 2009
Well not too much new here with this post, just want to get some updated pictures up. Summer seems to have officially ended now….the leaves are falling and its been in the 60’s/70’s the past couple of days. Even though our beloved Spartans suck, the girls sure do look cute in their new outfits. (Thanks Gramma!) So here is whats new with the girls...
Favorite words…..Cheese (gees), Hello (allo), Cookie. Cheese is also their favorite food!
Toys…. BOOKS!!! These girls LOVE to read! A shopping cart that they love to climb on and stand up in, and anything that plays music so they can dance. (Would love recommendations for toys that are good for 16 month old!!! )
Most exiting…..Going poopy and pee on the potty like big girls!! (Potty training here we come!) This started due to the girls thinking the bathtub was a toilet the past couple weeks…..anyways, about halfway through bath time we starting sitting them on the toilet and they knew exactly what to do! It will be a while before they are totally trained, but very exiting that they know what to do! I tried it after lunch today, and sure enough both girls went #1 and #2.
Teeth…..Two molars are coming in. I would have never known w/o sticking my finger in the girls mouth. They have not fussed once while teething. Doesn’t even phase them.
Pig tails…..They finally have enough hair to do little piggies. Too cute!
Hugs…….both girls give us hugs now. Last week after coming home from work, Natalie ran up to me and hugged my legs, and then ran to Mike and hugged his. Too sweet.
Stairs….They have mastered getting down the stairs all by themselves. They turn and slide all the way down. Its nice not to have to try a lug 40lbs of baby down the stairs anymore.
I’m sure there is so much I am forgetting but that’s all I can think of now. Enjoy the pics! The last picture is Kate reading the Sunday paper with Daddy.

14 months - best age ever!
I just wanted to post some recent pics of the girls and just say how much I am enjoying the girls being 14 months. They are playing together, chasing one another, playing keep away, and laughing at each other. Lately the game has been:
One pacifier available equals:
1) Kate putting it in her mouth
2) Kate running away so Natalie will chase her
3) Kate hiding behind a chair and waiting to get caught
4) Both of them screaming when Natalie finds her
5) Natalie pulling the pacifier out of Kates mouth
6) Both girls laughing
7) Natalie putting the pacifier in her mouth
8) Natalie crawling away so Kate chases her
9) And the game goes on and on...
It makes my heart melt watching my little girls have so much fun together!

Too Busy to Blog
I think this is what I am going to rename my blog…. We’ve been very busy around here lately and I just can’t believe how fast time is flying by! Proms, Weddings, First Birthdays, and Anniversaries!!
Our little brother went to prom and as is about to start his senior year in high school! I think when Mike and I first met we were still taking him to see Disney movies and now he’s prepping for college!! He’s all grown up and we couldn’t be more proud of him!!!
May 29th was a very special day this year. My sister got married and the girls celebrated their first birthday! Beth made such a beautiful bride and we had such a good time!! Loved the Mobile Boogie!
We had a belated birthday celebration for the girls! The each had their own cake to dive into. And although they weren’t sure what to do at first with everyone watching they eventually figured it out. Kate tried to shovel handfuls into her mouth all at once and Natalie wasn’t so sure about having her hands dirty and tried to fling frosting everywhere. Too much fun! Here is the link to pictures:

As for anniversaries…..our nanny has now been with us 6 months and we are so lucky to have found such a wonderful person to care for our girls! And the hubby and I are gearing up for our 5th year anniversary in August!
Its been kind of a cooler summer this year and pretty rainy, but we did manage to get out boating on Lake Minnetonka with our friends for a day. We all skipped out on work and enjoyed an adults only day!! Boating on the lake is by far one of my favorite ways to spend the day!! Other than that Mike's been busy remodeling our master bathroom - he's doing an amazing job!! He's quite handy - hanging drywall, cutting pipes and soldering them back together!!! And soon he'll be tiling!
Lastly here’s just a few of the things that the girls are into now.
Kate –She’s our outgoing one…walking everywhere and making lots of noise but not quite talking
Natalie- She’s still thinking about walking, but knows ma-ma and da-da, and snaps her fingers
Both are:
Raising their hands over their heads when we say “So Big”
Waving bye-bye
Giving High-Fives
Patting their bellies when we say “Big Belly”
And they both LOVE bathtime!
Here are A LOT of pictures from the past couple months.

Where do I begin….
Well I guess I should start by saying Happy 10-Months to my girls!!! It has been a long time since my last post - so since the New Year here’s a list of things that are new with the girls:
- Bottom teeth fully in and top teeth are poking through
- Holding their bottles all by themselves, just starting with sippy cups
- They are crawling full speed, pulling themselves up on the furniture, and can cruise around the furniture
- Both are saying Dada, Baba –but no Mama yet
- They LOVE Cheerios and yogurt
- Laugh hysterically every time I say “Meow”
- And of course they are both very excited that MSU is in the Final Four!!
We just got back from a long weekend in the Wisconsin Dells. We stayed at an indoor waterpark (Kalahari) and the girls had a blast!!! It was our first time going away with the girls and we had a really great time. The girls did pretty good in the car, but not sure we’ll ever attempt the 12 hour drive home to Michigan though. I’m happy to say that we finally took the girls out to dinner with us for the first, second, and third times while on our little vacation. Its been 10 months since we’ve been out to dinner – but we finally tried it and the girls did great! It wasn't as scary as I thought it might be. :)
The hubby is gearing up for a bathroom remodeling project . We’re starting with the master bathroom as his practice run….and then hopefully after that we’ll tackle the UGLY black and white bathroom in our basement. I’ll have to post a pic at some point because words can’t describe how ugly the bathroom is – it has a black toilet which to me is the creepiest thing in the world and I refuse to use it.
I've been pureeing like crazy.....everything from Bananas to Broccoli. All kinds of goodness for the girls. I'm kinda bummed that the girls will be grown out of that phase soon. (But very happy that we're almost done with formula!!!!)
Things at work are going well, the hubby and I just got promoted!! Hopefully the economy will turn around soon so we can see a pickup in business!
I guess I will keep this short and sweet and work on uploading many many pictures from the last couple months. A quick summary on the pics.... I've included our first walk of the season (it wasnt as cold as it looked), pics of the deer in our yard, misc pics around the house (the girls have the seem to have the same shirts on in multiple pics), pics of my purees, bathtime, etc, etc....Enjoy!!! I’ll try to make sure it doesn’t take me 2 months before my next post!
